PALM offers hope and healing to individuals suffering from the emotional scars of abortion. In a confidential and safe environment, women can heal from the pain and trauma of their past. Together we can find hope, forgiveness, and freedom through small group support.

Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands… Isaiah 49: 15-16

Who we are…

Barbara is a passionate and empathetic advocate for the restoration of post abortive individuals because she shares their story. In 2005, she began serving at a newly formed pregnancy center as a Patient Care Advocate. She is a certified Abortion Recovery Facilitator and for more than ten years has led abortion recovery groups and implemented post abortion programs. Barbara resides in Peachtree Corners, GA with her family, is an active member of The Bridge Church in Lawrenceville, and serves as patient services manager at PRC of Gwinnett. Other joys in her life are reading, cooking and cheering for her daughter at the soccer field.

PALM is not a substitute for professional counseling. However, all of our volunteer staff are screened, extensively trained, and reviewed to insure that the principles of PALM are being upheld with integrity. This program is designed to meet the needs of women looking for support and understanding concerning their past abortion encounters. Together we can experience God’s redemptive power of love, forgiveness, and freedom in Jesus Christ.

What we offer…
